A Unique Easter Egg Hunt in Arizona
My husband and I took our son to the Easter Egg Hunt/tour when he was almost 2 1/2 years old. We figured he would love it, especially since his favorite book/song at the time was Old MacDonald Had a Farm (it’s still a go-to favorite in our household). We found the tour to be very educational. Be rest assured that this is a dairy farm. For example, we learned the difference between the regular milk you would find at a grocery store, and milk that comes from organic, grass fed, or free range dairy cows. My son really enjoyed participating in the Easter Egg Hunt. He also enjoyed being able to feed a calf at the end of the tour.
It was perfect for his age. When you first arrive to the Farm, you see a big huge red barn, and a tractor, adding to the experience.
There were several activities at the main entrance - games, crafts, face painting, animal balloons and characters dressed up as Roxie (the Shamrock Farms mascot) and the Easter Bunny. And once the tour concluded, we were given the choice of milk or chocolate milk 🙂
