5 Reasons to Experience LEGO Batman Movie Days at LEGOLAND California

*My family received complimentary tickets to attend LEGO Batman Movie Days at LEGOLAND California in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.

For two weekends in February, LEGOLAND California is hosting special LEGO Batman Movie Days in honor of the recent release of the LEGO Batman Movie. My family and I were able to experience it for ourselves during our trip to LEGOLAND California last weekend and we had a lot of fun. As a result, I’ve listed five reasons to experience LEGO Batman Movie Days at LEGOLAND California! For those of you in the area, February 25, 2017 and February 26, 2017 will be the last days that you will be able to experience this special event.

5 Reasons to Experience LEGO Batman Movie Days at LEGOLAND California

  1. Meet LEGO Batman
  2. Participate in the MINILAND Scavenger Hunt
  3. Build & Test Your Own Batmobile
  4. Participate in a Life Size Build of LEGO Batman and Robin
  5. Contribute to the Mystery Mosaic Mural

1. Meet LEGO Batman

This was by far the highlight of my son’s day. He was looking forward to it so much that we were actually the first ones in line to meet LEGO Batman once the park opened! Luckily, the meet and greet with LEGO Batman occurs near the park entrance.

2. Participate in the MINILAND Scavenger Hunt

All three of us were involved in the scavenger hunt, including my son. Guests are handed a paper with clues, and the goal is to find some of the minifigure villains in certain areas of MINILAND. Once you receive all the clues, you can unscramble a word. Several families were doing the scavenger hunt while we were there - once you’re done you can enter to win an awesome LEGO set, worth over $500!! Sadly, we didn’t win, lol!

3. Build and Test Your Own Batmobile

My son also really enjoyed this particular event - he built his own batmobile using LEGOS, and raced it against other batmobiles. He was also extremely excited because his batmobile won!

And afterward, everyone receives a certificate 🙂

4. Participate in Life-Size LEGO Batman and LEGO Robin

In this particular area, guests can help build LEGO Batman and LEGO Robin. It always amazes me to see LEGO building to this extent.

5. Contribute to the Mystery Mosaic LEGO Mural

This was my favorite part. Spoiler alert - if you don’t want to see what the mystery mural revealed at the end, then you will want to stop reading this particular section 🙂 Basically, guests are given options to build LEGO squares. Once they’ve completed their squares, the squares are placed on a board.

I chose to make a square using pink and grey LEGOS 🙂

This is what the mural looked like earlier in the day.

And the mystery mural revealed!! It was awesome to see in person.
