Apple Annie’s Orchard is located in Willcox, Arizona which is approximately 1 ½ hours away from Tucson. A visit to Apple Annie’s is a fun day trip for families, especially those with younger children. During the month of October, not only can you take a hayride to pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, but you can also check out the corn maze.
The first pumpkin patch my husband and I took our son to visit was Apple Annie’s Orchard, in Willcox, Arizona. By then, our son had just turned 1 year old. We liked it because it wasn’t overwhelming, especially for younger children. We also found it to be a great way to introduce our son to a pumpkin patch. The orchard is out in the country, and has a very relaxed atmosphere.
The Pumpkin Patch at Apple Annie’s Orchard
The pumpkin patch itself has pumpkins of different sizes. We picked a small pumpkin for our son and he was very fascinated with it.
But we also couldn’t resist taking his photo with one of the larger pumpkins!
It’s always a great day and there’s plenty of things to do besides take a hay ride to the pumpkin patch. When we go, we always eat lunch there. The burgers are delicious, and the apple pie with ice cream is the perfect dessert. We usually stop inside the country store, and bring home an apple pie!
We are definitely looking forward to returning to Apple Annie’s next month. New to Apple Annie’s is a corn maze there that’s designed to look like Nandi, the elephant born at Reid Park Zoo!
Apple Annie’s has generously provided me and my family with tickets for the pumpkin patch and corn maze, as well as tickets for a giveaway. Three lucky readers will win 4 passes each to the corn maze! Please enter the rafflecopter below for a chance to win tickets.
The contest ends on September 30th at 12 am (Mountain Time), and I will notify the winners via email. The winners will need to respond to my email within 48 hours, otherwise he/she will forfeit their tickets and another winner will be selected. Good luck!
