Experiencing Disney on Ice

Hold on to your ice skates 🙂 Disney on Ice has skated into Tucson and is performing Worlds of Enchantment until Sunday, October 16, 2016. Last night, my family and I had the opportunity to see it in person and we loved every minute of it! My son was completely glued to watching some of his favorite characters on the ice skating rink and he was very excited to see Mickey and Friends make appearances throughout the performance. Hence the title of this article - Experiencing Disney on Ice. Because it really is an experience, from the characters, to the music, to the props, to the ice skating.

We loved the variety of Worlds of Enchantment. I mean, where else are you going to see characters from Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Frozen, and Cars dancing on the ice skating rink along to popular songs from their respective movies? And see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald, too?

Here are some of the photos that I took last night. “The toys are back in town, the toys are back in town…..”

Yes, these are the army men from Toy Story. As you’ve never seen them before - ice skating.

And then there’s Ken and Barbie! I feel like it’s the 80s all over again. And I love it!

Ken wasn't the only one showing off his dance moves. Buzz and Jesse also took a whirl!

My son’s favorite part? Mickey and Minnie in their roadster.

As Mickey would say, “See ya real soon!”

* I was provided with four tickets to opening night’s performance in exchange for sharing information about Worlds of Enchantment, including a discount code. All opinions are my own.
