Holiday Lights at Tohono Chul Park

I know Christmas is now over, but I wanted to write about this before the year ended! One of the things I enjoy about the holidays are seeing holiday lights at night. My family and I met up with friends during a weekend in December to experience the holiday lights at Tohono Chul Park. With the desert landscape as our background, it was absolutely beautiful.

Tohono Chul Park is a botanical garden that is located in Tucson, Arizona and hosts a special event called Holiday Lights during three weekends in December. Not only are beautiful holiday lights on display, but there are also cookies available to eat, and hot chocolate to drink.

While I have previously been to Tohono Chul Park, I’ve never attended Holiday Lights. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the twinkling lights. There were several lights on display, and I loved seeing them in person. Below are some of my favorites 🙂

While I loved it, I think my son at 4 years old was a little too young to fully enjoy it. He liked looking at the lights, but he mostly wanted to run around with his friend. I’d definitely recommend it for adults and older children. But if you have children around my son’s age, I’d probably hold off until they are older before taking them.
