Get your shopping list ready!  I attended the media preview for Toy Story Land when it first opened.  My mission?  To scope out the merchandise.  From t-shirts to slinky dogs, here’s a complete guide for shopping in Toy Story Land, including the top souvenirs, where to buy them and how to score a deal!

Toy Story Land just have fun rides, like Slinky Dog Dash, and character experiences.  Toy Story Land celebrates the kid in all of us by making us feel like we are toys playing in Andy’s Backyard!  To add to the fun, the Toy Story Land merchandise follows the same concept.

Whether you’re looking for toys or clothing, Toy Story Land has it covered.  Regardless of age!  Are you shopping in Toy Story Land?  Do you want a t-shirt to commemorate your visit?  Or a fun headband? Here’s a complete guide for shopping in Toy Story Land, including the top souvenirs, where to buy them and how to score a deal!

1. What Merchandise to Buy at Toy Story Land

I scoured Toy Story Land to see what is available for those who love Toy Story.  I discovered that there are several options available.  One of the rides in Toy Story Land is the Slinky Dog Dash, modeled after the slinky dog toy.  So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that a popular item is a slinky dog headband!

Other merchandise available include a little green alien headband, collector pins, mugs, commemorative cups, t-shirts, backpacks, little green alien light up necklaces, little green alien stuffed animals, a slinky dog that lights up, a buzz lightyear action figure that blows bubbles, and a toy that resembles the Slinky Dog Dash ride.

I purchased a slinky dog headband for my son as well as a baseball cap and t-shirt, and he had fun wearing his new gear during our visit to Toy Story Land!

2. Where to Buy Merchandise at Toy Story Land

If you’re shopping in Toy Story Land, there are two locations where guests can purchase Toy Story merchandise.  Specifically, there are two outdoor carts (or kiosks).  One is in the shape of a toy camper and the other is in the shape of a toy dump truck.

However, there are other locations outside of Toy Story Land, but still within Hollywood Studios, where Toy Story merchandise can be located.  Three stores where Toy Story merchandise can be found are Beverly Sunset (located on Sunset Boulevard), Mickey’s of Hollywood (located on Hollywood Boulevard), and In Character (located in the Animation Courtyard area).

And last but not least, Toy Story themed merchandise can also be purchased outside of Toy Story Land and Hollywood Studios, like some of the Disney stores in Disney Springs.

3. Tips for Getting Toy Story Land Merchandise at a Discount

Merchandise can quickly add up, especially if you’re purchasing it inside the park.  However, there are still several ways to purchase Disney merchandise at a discount, even in the parks!

If you’re an annual pass holder, you can receive up to a 20% discount on select merchandise.  Also, Disney Visa card members can receive a 10% discount at certain locations.  While I’m not an annual pass holder, I am still able to receive a 10% discount on my purchase, thanks to my Disney Visa card.

Also, keep in mind that while most Toy Story Merchandise can be found in Toy Story Land itself, Toy Story merchandise can also be located at other stores, like some of the Disney stores in Disney Springs. And if you’re feeling adventurous, my friend Tania at Lolalambchops.com, recommends a nearby Disney outlet store.
